In the Sorrento Valley, "far from the action" of Downtown, this "real find" comes with "spacious" rooms and suites that are probably best for "single business travelers" rather than vacationers; still, respondents say they get lots of "bang for the buck" from amenities like "excellent" beds, a free grocery-shopping service and "ample" complimentary parking; N.B. there's WiFi in public areas, but in the cheaper rooms you must pay for it.

Very roomy and good access to things we needed.

Didn't like to have to pay for an upgrade could have been better stocked in the kitchen.

Very nice for a family, kitchen facilities in the suite. Roomy we added two roll aways and were comfortable.

The staff was very friendly.

The room spelled old and was not vacation like. It was more for business travel.

The hotel was OK. It is not close to downtown, however it does have a restaurant near by as well as a comedy club. I was able to bring my puppy and the charge was $10 (can't beat that!). The staff was very nice, but the room was very small for the price. ...read more
